My WHY for doing what I do links to an earlier wound. When I was a Vice President of Current Programming, I found out that the company was not renewing my contract. I had worked with the top executive producers in the business for fifteen years. I learned so much from them. Now, where was I going to put the value into what I learned? I looked at the dilemma for screenwriters, who have trouble getting professional feedback on their scripts. Aaron Spelling told me that I gave some of the best development notes in the business; therefore, I built a business around the screenwriter’s dilemma and my strength as an executive.
